I change the search parameters. No effect

It's just common sense surely to be able to navigate back to the first page you arrive at?

Normally, it's the top left hand logo.

I must be missing something. How could something like that me left out?

I don't use the browser interface that often, but if EN opens in all notes for you just click on All Notes under Notebooks in the left panel.

The default page when I log into EN Web is the new note page, which you can return to by clicking the 'plus' in the circle.  Otherwise, as @csihilling suggested, use any one of the other icons on the left side to navigate to wherever you wish - there is no unique login or 'home' page as far as I am aware.

Should have mentioned above, my recommendation was based upon classic web not the new beta version.
