Level 5* gazumped 12,039 Posted April 6, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 6, 2015 The top ribbon in what version of Evernote? My Windows 8 installed desktop version looks pretty much like that... Link to comment
GiacomoLaw 134
In Evernote V.5.8.5 GA on Windows 7. Link to comment

GiacomoLaw 134
I would like the ribbon at the top to be the same. In my program, the ribbon is the default Windows one, but in the image, it is custom one, like Office 2013. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,039 Posted April 7, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 7, 2015 Now you're cheating - that picture isn't the same as your original post.. and it's confusing, because the note title is at the very top of the window, but there are Windows desktop icons at the bottom on the same coloured wallpaper. I really don't know how that setup can be achieved. Any other suggestions out there? Link to comment
GiacomoLaw 134
The second picture is how it is now, and the first is how I want it. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,039 Posted April 7, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 7, 2015 Ah. Have you tried uninstall/ reinstall? (Don't forget the obligatory database folder backup) Mine's a vanilla version from a recent install and looks just like your first post. Link to comment
dconnet 529
You can't. We don't support upper-case menus or getting rid of the window caption. Or making the min/max/close buttons look like Win8 when you're on Win7. (Well, you could make upper case menus by directly editing the compiled resources in the EXE [and/or the resource DLLs in the Intl directory], but that would invalidate the file's digital signature.)
