Carlos Cadu 16
Hi, My notebooks are named as following: @ Notebook A> Notebook B The windows evernote sort the notebooks this way in any interface (left panel, when selecting a notebook from a note). The evernote web inverts this sorting to: > Notebook B@ Notebook A The android evernote sorts the main interface (left) as the evernote windows, but when clipping or selecting a notebook from a note it sorts as the evernote web. Quite inconsistent, messing my organization up! Is there any special character hierarchy which maintains the same sorting through Android, Windows and Web interfaces in any circumstance? Many thanks, Cadu Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 9,543 Posted March 20, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted March 20, 2015 Notebooks are always sorted alphabetically by name, but obviously the different applications may have coded that sort differently. There are a variety of schemes for ordering notebook names correctly, IIR the most sensible of which was to use shortcuts in the side bar or top bar which can be manually adjusted for order and will then remain fixed. If you can set up the shortcuts in EN Desktop, they should still be available in EN Android. Maybe. Link to comment
Eriugena 1
The difference in sorting order has nothing to do with Evernote, but that every OS has a different translation table for characters. This difference is illustrated before in post http://www.thesecret...gain/#post-1816 Link to comment
