Request: Ability to change the default link color in notes

I see that you can change it manually, but that's such a hassle and it just switches right back to that awful blue color once you move the link anyway. I'd much rather have it be Evernote green!

Blue links are external links.

Green links are Note Links (Note->Copy Note Link).

Blue links are external links.

Green links are Note Links (Note->Copy Note Link).

The only blue that I get is if I copy the "share URL link." The note links should look green (see video).

Oh, interesting. For internal notes I've been right clicking and then selecting "Copy note link" and pasting that into a note. That gives me a blue link for the notes. Right-clicking and selecting "Copy note link" should still give you a green link.

Are you sure you're not selecting "Copy Share URL to Clipboard"?

I think what Adjusting meant to say is that "Copy note link" ought to give you a green link (internal one) and "Share>Copy Share URL to Clipboard" will give you a blue link. If this is not happening, could you post a screenshot of a note with these odd links in it? Thanks!

As for note color links, I don't think there is very much demand for it. Sorry. However, I (and others) have a long-standing suggestion that would address your issue -- style sheets. We would like to be able to have user defined styles for our notes. If we gained this ability, you could change note links if you'd like. Any number of other apps on iOS and OSX give you this kind of control (note links included), so I think this is a fairly widespread feature request, even if people don't focus specifically on asking for different link colors. 

 

In a word: customizability.

I seccond the request for user stylesheets or at least link color customization. The BLUE blue is sticking out too much for many situations where the link is just a convenient thing but shouldn't grab extra attention. (I'd go with a darker, less saturated blue).

I backup the request. Blue links are very ugly. As I'm using liks a lot, disturbing look of them makes me stop to use Evernote for note making. I'm attaching screenshot of Evernote links and for comparison Day One liks. Please change that!

I'm a little late to the game but I agree the blue used for the links is so stark compared to the minimalistic way I like to work. The blue above is perfect. I know we can change it manually, but how great would it be to just include it in the formatting section under preferences.

I print notes in black and white, so would like hyperlinks to be black without having to change it each time!

 I use dark mode and various colour temperature screen tints for night time for circadian health, so I need to choose a colour that is visible. It really is a hassle to have to change the colour every time. I sear it was possible to change default link color before!
