I use Evernote to store a lot of political comments.

In some cases, I use the Evernote Merge feature to put both perspectives in the same note.

The Evernote separator bar is a clue to me that there is additional information further down the note.

I could use a link, but this is cleaner for my needs.

Here is an example of a commentary and the actual posting.

That's a good use-case. I prefer to keep my stuff separated for a few reasons. It makes searches more precise, it is easier to take in the content of a note (no scrolling -- a real plus on the iPhone), and it makes it clear what sources I have (mixing an article from two blogs makes it unclear where the source came from until I scroll through the note). The note links are just a click away. I think I have only merged notes a couple of times. However, I can certainly see the value in having the feature, and I am glad it is there.

You could also try using justification for opposite sides. Left -justified for one side, right for the other side.

Jbenson I have a friend who is also an op researcher. Will probably be sitting with him shortly to talk about how he can use it. Thanks for sharing.

And I like jefito's idea of right/left justify
