(Archived) HOWTO: Upload pictures

This may seem like a very basic question, but I really cannot figure this out. I love evernote for taking notes but I can't figure out how to upload an image file from my computer to evernote. There is probably a very simple way to do this but for some reason i am oblivious.

Well...

1. create Import Folder (see Tools menu) drop image file into folder
   
2. create new note drop image file into note
   
3. email image file to Evernote address

This is the Mac forum. The Mac client doesn't have import folders.

it0r0nt0, one way to do it is to drag and drop the file onto the Evernote icon in the dock. That will create a new note with just the image (to which you can add more data, merge, etc.). You can do this in batches too; that is, you can highlight as many files as you want and simultaneously drop all of them into Evernote. Each will open in a new Evernote window, though.

Or just drag an image into any note you have open.
