remove daily note option?

how do i turn off daily notes.. there is NO check box in my settings that i can see... i dont want this, dont need it.. and its just clutter..

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Log out and log back in sometimes helps as well?

You can in the settings. If you don't see any options log out and in again.

Its also opt-in so there would've been a giant pop up window asking you to choose a template.

nope... i went as far as removing and reinstalling.. NO setting for daily note *****. settings are same as screenshot i posted earlier.

First the client needs to be updated. Then you may need to log out, and back in.

this is a fresh install. and there are no updates avail.

Very odd. Have you tried a reboot? I have the settings appearing across all devices OK.

Hi, go into Settings and uncheck the Daily note tick box.

Log into the web version of Evernote and see if the settings are there.

If not send in a support ticket explaining what you've done. Make sure you reply to the auto-response so you get to a human.

I can confirm that. No setting in the app. even after logout and login again

 

Also I get double notes and notebooks

 

Thanks for the web tip, have turned if off there now. Lets see if it then finally stops.

From 10.99.3 Mac, the same is available on the web client. If you don't see it, log out, quit the app (not only close it), restart the computer, open the app again and log in.

Latest version should be 10.99.3. Should be available to update in the app stores.

In my case, auto daily notes exceeded the note limit on Evernote personal, so the app took me to a screen to upgrade to professional.

 

Sneaky move, Evernote!
