傑士伯 3
Today, I face a problem "Cannot connect to server, please try again later." I am the Evernote Personal subscription user. I cannot login to use the Evernote legacy for windows now. Even I want to upgrade to new version, but I still have un-sync note in my local computer, it is very import for me, and spent 2 ~ 3 hours to write that note. So I cannot upgrade to new version. How can I do or fix it ? Level 5* gazumped 12,025 Posted February 26 Level 5* Share Posted February 26 Hi. What country are you connecting from? There are occasional issues with national or local firewalls. It may help if you download the Evernote update again from Evernote.com and reinstall it. Any unsynced notes that were saved to your local database should be safe - copy the existing databases folder to another location to make sure you have a backup in case something goes wrong. Level 5 Solution Dave-in-Decatur 3,998 Posted February 26 Level 5 Solution Share Posted February 26 This problem has been reported by many other Legacy users. It was apparently a temporary issue on the Evernote servers. If you try it again, it may work now. Link to comment
傑士伯 3
@gazumped @Dave-in-Decatur The problem seems to stem from the https://www.evernote.com/openid/enabled web API responding with a 403 Forbidden error. I was able to log in last night and sync. I've backed up the Evernote local databases. Thanks a lot. 2 Link to comment
