saving contents of a search to a new notebook

Idea

Hi,

Is there a way to save the contents of a search to a new notebook? For example, I have over 100 poems of one poet in a notebook called "poems," but I'd like to separate them out into their own notebook. Is this possible, or if not, will you consider adding this feature to the Windows version?

Thank you,

Amrita

You could theoretically select them and move them.

The much better way would be to use tags instead. One note can only exist in one (1) notebook at any time. But it can carry many tags, that allow for a much more flexible use without moving it around at all. Instead you simply add or remove a tag.

You can do this now, but you will have to select 100 of them at a time to either move or tag.  You could modify your search to include

-tag:YourTag

or

-Notebook:YourNotebook

to hide the ones you have already handled.
