Rad_Boy 14
When I do a web clip on my Windows 10 PC I am then given the choice to open it in the cloud or on my PC. Can someone help me decide what the best thing to do is? Since the two are synced I'm not sure what the real difference is. I would like to keep a copy of all my Evernote data on my PC. Is that an issue here? Come to think of it, where is the data stored on a PC? Thanks! Link to comment

Level 5 Solution Dave-in-Decatur 3,978 Posted February 5 Level 5 Solution Share Posted February 5 If you're using Evernote for Windows, then yes, there is a copy of your complete data on your PC, if you have the option "Keep a copy of my notes on this device at sign-out" selected in the settings. The choice where to open a clip after clipping has more to do with where you want to work on it, IMHO. I find it opens a little faster in the Web version, but if I plan to work with it in the desktop app (which I usually do), then that's fine--except that it may take a few seconds for the new clip to appear there as a note, and meanwhile it dumps me on whatever was the most recent note in my default notebook. 1 Link to comment
