Trouble with Returning to Evernote

Whenever I toggle to a different app on my Mac and then return to the Evernote app it always returns to the same note (which I haven’t opened recently) rather than where I was working. I cannot find a way to have it default to where I was working. I don’t understand why it moves to a different location in Evernote.

Hi.  Exactly how do you 'toggle' away and back?  What keystrokes?  And in what version of MacOS?

Thanks for responding. I toggle with Command-Tab. Running MacOS 14.2.1.

Tried to log out of your account for once, just to reset everything in the app ?

Hmmn.  Was that Quitting or just signing out?

Gazumped: Quitting and logging in did not solve the issue. Don’t take this personally, but I sure wish that Evernote would allow us to speak with a living human being to facilitate problem solving. It certainly does not make me more likely to recommend the app.

Not an issue - but with a few million subscribers,  they'd need a staff of thousands to deal with phone calls too.  It'll be nice when Chat comes back,  but until then there's just https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and waiting...

I finally uninstalled and reinstalled Evernote. Seems to have solved the problem. 😃
