MatthewIcebox 0
Due to another issue I’m experiencing about adding annotated pdfs to a shared notebook, I’m trying to unshare a notebook. When I click on Remove Access for the email address of the added person, I get this message: Error: could not remove access So how do I remove access? I’m assuming this is because the other person had read and edit permissions? I’m running Evernote on my iPad (not web version) with iOS 17.1.1 Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,079 Posted November 29, 2023 Level 5* Share Posted November 29, 2023 Hi. So you are the original owner and creator of the notebook? If so, you should (AFAIK) be able to throw someone else out at any time regardless of their access. I'm not an iOS user though, so I'd suggest you wait for a more informed opinion! Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,855 Posted November 29, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted November 29, 2023 I just tried, and I found no issue. Changing access worked, as did removing it. This even worked when the receiving user was in the note in editing mode, when the donating account removed access. The action of the owner breaks any action of the receiver. Donating client on iPad, receiving client on iPhone. If there is a problem with sharing notes or notebooks, first log out of the account, close the client, reopen it and login again. Link to comment
