  1. Shared by me with another user. I don’t know if they have made any changes on any of the notes.
  2. Due to another issue I’m experiencing about adding annotated pdfs to a shared notebook, I’m trying to unshare a notebook. When I click on Remove Access for the email address of the added person, I get this message: Error: could not remove access So how do I remove access? I’m assuming this is because the other person had read and edit permissions? I’m running Evernote on my iPad (not web version) with iOS 17.1.1
  3. My understanding is that tags should be available across all notebooks. However when I create a new notebook, and then a new note, when I click on the add tag icon, I don’t see a list of all my available tags. However, if I start typing a tag name, it does generate a drop-down list with all the existing tags that start with that letter. In my original notebook, clicking that link immediately shows me a list with all tags which is what I want, so I’m not having to type out all possible starting letters. I’m using Evernote on my iPad (not web version) and have personal account. I’m using iOS 17.1.1
  4. I played with this some more and am seeing this behavior: If I create a new note in a new, unshared notebook, I have no problem attaching an annotated PDF. However, if I create a note in a shared notebook, I repeatedly get an issue when trying to attach an annotated PDF. I’m not sure if the sharing is the issue or if the notebook is corrupted/different in some other way. The sharing is the only thing that looks different to me.
  5. I found Evernote’s pdf annotation features to be limited on the iPad so I’ve been annotating pdf’s using iOS itself (just click on the pdf and use the annotation tools iOS provides). However, when I try to attached an annotated pdf file, at first it looks like it’s attached but as soon as I click anywhere else in the note I get “Unable to upload” error. I do not get this error when I upload an unannotated pdf. I’ve tried re-saving the annotated pdf as well as compressing then in-compressing but no luck. It shows as a pdf document the same as an unannotated file, according to iOS. I have the personal plan and I’m on an iPad with iOS 17.1.1
  6. So it looks like the pdf documents that I can’t upload are ones that I’ve highlighted/annotated with on my iPad. Other documents upload ok.
  7. I’m having the same issue. First started with previously imported files showing as “Untitled Attachment”. When I tried replacing with new copy, I now get Unable to upload error I have Evernote Personal account. Tried on desktop and web version on my iPad. It’s not a new office IT setting issue as this is happening at home. Updated IPad software and rebooted. Still not working.
  8. When I open a pdf document in edit mode and then try to highlight, initially the highlight color is transparent but once I let go of the trackpad (or lift the pen) the highlight becomes (and stays) opaque. Not useful at all. I’m running iPadOS16.6. As well, it would be nice if my highlighting could follow the lines of the text in the pdf document (the way the select tool does) but I can’t figure out how to do that either (tried holding down shift key, etc when dragging highlight tool). Thanks, Matthew
