totalz 0
Note info for one of them: 3 MB - 20,879 words - 122,741 characters This note didn't have any issue before. CPU calculation spikes during typing on that note. Link to comment

Caryn 0
Evernote 10.67.2 has become almost unusable on my mac book pro (big sur) in the last week. Typing is really laggy. Works fine on other devices and OSs. Link to comment
bwydoogh 71
Same here on latest macOS (Sonoma); had to reinstall 10.66.x version as the 10.67.2 version is not usable 😕. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,738 Posted November 27, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted November 27, 2023 Can't reproduce this on my Macs. Mouse and typing is snappy as always. The usual fix for laggyness is to log out and quit using the client. Then uninstall the client, using AppCleaner to remove all program parts and the database. Restart the Mac. Now download the latest installer from the EN website. Install, open, log in. Now let the client run (can be in the background) while it downloads a fresh copy of the data. The client can be used meanwhile, but expect some attachments to open slower than usual, because they are still in the server only. The reason for this action is that a corrupted local database can create all sort of problems, including laggyness, high CPU usage, slow startup of the app and similar. Removing the database and forcing a fresh download usually saves the issue. Link to comment

Caryn 0
How do you roll back a version? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,738 Posted November 28, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted November 28, 2023 You need to find an older installer somewhere, and run it. Doesn’t do much good, the old client will autoupdate soon. Link to comment
