happy1 1
I'm trying to share notebooks with two people - do these other people need to have Evernote in order for me to share with them? Can they have a free version of Evernote? Trying to share recipe notebooks with my kids and can't figure out how to get the notebooks to share with them. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,785 Posted October 17, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted October 17, 2023 Notebooks can only be shared to a known recipient (= an email address) - there is no sharing by link for notebooks any more. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314748 Notes can be shared through a link as well. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005417 Link to comment
happy1 1
PinkElephant - Thanks for your reply! So, all it takes is an email address and they'll receive an invite? No Evernote needed on their end? I've tried sending emails to my daughter and she's opened an Evernote account, but none of the Evernote (recipes) show in her account. I have gotten notes to her, but want to send the whole notebook. Thanks! Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,059 Posted October 17, 2023 Evernote Expert Share Posted October 17, 2023 To be very honest, these two people are likely to find viewing a notebook easier if you share with a Free Evernote account. That makes it easier to view the various notes. Link to comment
