Linking multiple devices

Recommended Posts

Once upon a time, about 2 months ago now,  I had a great synchronised Evernote network, including a MacBook, an iPhone and 2 iPads.

Then a Mac upgrade crashed my MacBook and I had to have MacOS restored.  Nightmare!  I then reinstalled my Mac Evernote and everything worked well.

However, it will no longer share data on my other devices, on all of which I open Evernote and there is no data available.

I assume I need to reinstall and/or reconfigure Evernote on my portable devices, which I have done.  However, there must be some crucial information I am missing in order to tell them where the main Mac-originated data can be located.

I have tried integrating my iPhone using username, email address and appleid, but no joy as yet.

Clearly, this shouldn't be too hard and indeed, I have had it working before but perhaps things have changed in the version of Evernote I subsequently restored onto my Mac?  Here are the details.

10.63.4-mac-ddl-public (20231006121931)
Editor: v176.13.0
Service: v1.75.5

Enough, speculation.  Over to you experts!

Thanks in anticipation...

One remote possibility for clarity: an empty Evernote account is often a sign of having accidentally created a new (and therefore empty) one by signing in with a different email address or user name. This is surprisingly easy to do. You might want to check for this on the other devices.
