What does blue dot on webclipper mean?

What does  the blue dot on WebClipper mean? It seems to be working fine, I am signed in, clips are getting to Evernote ok? I am on Safari/Mac.

I think it's a browser indication - possibly that the add-on has been updated.

Interesting. I have never seen a dot other than when a logon is needed, and it has not gone away. Oh well!  Always an adventure with WebClipper 😆

Thanks for this post as I too have that dot.

All web searches assuming it was coming from a Safari extension function has turned up nothing.  Within managing extensions, I've turned the extension off and on again, and have toggled the Private Browsing checkbox - all to see no change in the dot appearance.

As Don0819 says, the clipper appears to work just fine.

...I just would like to know what it means.
