Not hiding the note list when opening a note from shourtcuts

In EN legacy, when opening a note from the shortcuts it takes you to the notebook and shows the notelist. For EN10 it hides the notelist which is not good for productivity and navigation.

You want it „like in legacy“ ?

We don’t …

When I open a note, I want to open that note. I don’t want my notes list mixed up at the same time, as a side effect. When I want to go to a notebook, I go there.

You want both combined, fine. Others not. Why should everybody’s workflows be mixed up just because you want it „like in legacy“ ?

We have build our own workflows since 3 years based on v10. I think you can learn how it works, and adapt your workflows, for a change.

Double-clicking a note name will open it in a separate window so you can also see the main app and its list of notes.

If you want it to open that do as gazumped says open it in a new window.

I use stacked notes sorted based on title with numbers so it's very convinent to have a shortcut to the top note then use arrow keys to get to the sub notes.

It could be an option to hide or not hide the note list when clicking a note from the shortcut.
