Will I get refunded for 11 months if I only used Evernote for 1 month on a yearly subscription?

Hi, I already close and cancelled my yearly subscription today. Only used Evernote for 1 month. Will Evernote automatically refund 11 months to my credit card or I have to create a request to customer support?

Hi.  If you already paid for 1 year,  Evernote will keep your account open fo rthat period unless you contact Support to request otherwise.

Hmm. that's not true. I can no longer login to my account now as I already closed it.

Looks like I have to contact customer support to request for refund. Thanks

When you choose the yearly subscription, you sign a contract for a one year period. You do so because you want to save on the longer term, compared to 12 monthly payments.

If you close your account meanwhile, it is legally NO reason to ask for a refund. EN would be willing to honor their part of the contract, and if you opt out is entirely your own decision. This does legally not abbreviate the contractual period of 1 year.

Only support can decide to let you abandoned the contract early.
