mr.gastronomic 0
Hello, I recently made the switch from Windows to Mac and was able to get Legacy installed on my machine. That said, Mac is vastly different from Windows and I am having trouble identifying where my local storage is, and how I can change it so that all data created is stored on an external hard drive. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!! Best, Dan Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,066 Posted September 17, 2023 Level 5* Share Posted September 17, 2023 On a Windows legacy app, the database storage options are in Settings. Do you have a Preferences you could check? Windows users were able to move the database. Not sure whether that applied to Mac users... Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,808 Posted September 17, 2023 Level 5 Share Posted September 17, 2023 No help any more from my side on legacy Mac. It is massively handicapped when running under Ventura, and it doesn’t offer any advantage over v10 for me any more. I decided to uninstall it more than half a year ago. So before I tell something wrong, I won’t tell anything. On Mac v10 you can move the database wherever you want (if you use the direct install, on the AppStore version you can’t). The path is shown in app settings. Link to comment
