Attachments get lost in notes.

Recommended Posts

Most of the attachments in notes cannot be loaded.

Most attachments in notes are old (Since 2008), but some new added notes missing too.

No matter how large of the attachments, after loading after times, it become 0 KB.  or nameless attachments, and lost.  Sometime can be restored in history, but sometime the history will be lost too.  Even re-upload the attachment, it still 0 kb (Cache I think).

The frequencies of losing are very high and no improve after updated.  Few can be loaded after EN restarted, but mostly are not. The losing mostly are 7 of 10.  Even all the note have only one 30 kb attachment, or note with text and things with attachments.

Bugs on using can be endured (more than 3 years), but losing of notes and attachments IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.  The promising is lost nothing when EN update to 10.  However, it become losing data, it cannot be tolerance.

No matter how high of the charge fee, you will get nothing if no customers.  Mr. PATERNALLO , please go to the forums or groups on social medias.  Most of the topics are not experience exchange in EN, but talking about moving out from EN to others apps.

Hi.  The Forums here are mainly supported by other users,  and we're not Evernote Support.  You should really contact them for more help with this.  Please confirm for them what device you're using,  plus exactly what OS and Evernote versions you have.  Plus.  Have you checked your account in another device,  preferably signing in via Evernote.com?  It's most likely that while you can't see attachments on the Mac,  they are still in your account - just not being displayed correctly.

No issue like that, on older or younger notes.

It might be the local database has a corruption, so my first step would be to enter the web client and check there. If the attachments are available on the web, it is a local problem. In this case the database needs to be replaced.

The easiest way would be to log out and quit the client. Then use the app AppCleaner to remove all parts of EN. Restart the Mac, get the download from the website, install and log in. Keep the app running in the background because it needs a while to download everything again.

If the problem persists on the web client , contact support.
