Internal Linking Errors After Latest Update

Click an internal link in a note and it takes you to a random but recently used note. I rebooted Evernote and it worked fine for one link and then the bug kicked in again.

Hi. Known bug I think - if you click the link again it should work a second time.

Thanks! It's now linking to Evernote in browser rather than app. Does the same thing every click.

Oh yeah, it has. That's strange. Other internal links still seem to be ok. Working on second click (as you originally said it would) now that I've changed it to evernote:///

My links doesn't care if I click once or twice. They are dead. 
Doesn't matter if I use internal or web link.

I get this happening sometimes. I click on an internal note link and it goes to the top of the notebook not to the correct note. If I then press the back button it goes to the correct note.

Thanx, but the Back button doesn't do the trick for me.

For me it isn't sometimes it's more like always now.

Yes, I have this problem, internal links never work on both Mac App and Web.

@MikeP's back button trick worked for me for now. 

Used to be able to uninstall the app and then reinstall but now that does not work. 

Very frustrating as I use "table of contents" notes and Evernote is pretty much useless to me if links do not work. 

If anyone has chatted with Evernote support or found a better solution to this I would be very interested. I have submitted my own ticket and am waiting to hear back.

Having the same problem and it's extremely annoying.

Backbutton doesn't work for me.

Most of the time I stay on the same note sometimes the link takes me to a completely different note  😞

Since a couple of days I have a ticket where Evernote where they want me to Capture what's happening and send to them.

Not the easiest task and No progress so far.

Another trick: to get links to work, make sure you are accessing the note through the notes tab rather than the reminders tab. I put non-dated reminders on all of my "table of contents" notes to make them easier to find; however, while this does make them easier to find, it also seems to interfere with the links. Finding the "table of contents" notes within the list on the notes tab, and accessing it there seems to work better for links.

Looks like Evernote Version 10.63.3 released on October 8, 2023, fixes this issue on the Windows App (but not the Mac App unfortunately). From the release notes, "Fixes an issue where internal app links didn't direct user to the target note (Windows)."
