Sections of note disappearing!

I worked about ten minutes on a section of a note — several paragraphs — and unbelievably it just disappeared!  I had no other devices active with Evernote open so it could not have been a sync conflict.  "Note history” was of no help.  Very frustrating and disappointing that such a basic function fails ;-(

Was your note that you were working on open in it's own separate window?

This has happened to me recently and the note I was working on was open in it's own window... so just wondering if it has something to do with that. Note history was of no help in my case either.

Luckily I noticed soon after so I could remember most of what I had done but I wonder how many notes I might be missing data on that I have no idea about.
