Delete green "shortcut" with "New Notebook" in sidepanel

Is it possible to delete or move the green "new notebook" shortcut in the sidepanel?

From what I see, there is only a green New Note / violet New Task button.

It's possible to shrink the whole panel - click the arrow at the bottom or F10.  No way (that I'm aware of) to remove that button.  Can you give us more information on why you want it gone?

It's just annoying and partly irrelevant that it's there - and it's even not needed since you can just rightclick the notebook-headline and select "new notebook". I like my sidepanel to be just as I wan't it - free of stuff, I don't use. And yeah...maybe it's a OCD - but that's how it is

I haven't been using Evernote for about a year ish. Back then, the green "shortcut" wasn't there.

Yeah, haven’t noted it myself. Maybe because I rarely open a new notebook - my organization is based on tags.

As said, it can’t be removed, but it disappears when the section is collapsed.
