Switching back from Premium to Free - How To

I understand why this is not easy to find...but does someone know how to do this? I am on Windows and, I'm using the web version of Evernote (which I love). I just can't spend $12x a year to have whatever Premium gives me over the Free level of EN.

Hi.  It's easy to downgrade if you wish to - please change your account level in 'manage subscription' on the My Account page https://www.evernote.com/Settings.action and remove any payment methods.

If you end your subscription you'll enjoy the current service until your last payment expires,  then your account will revert to Basic.  You'll be able to view and open existing notes,  but if the edited note size exceeds the Basic limits,  you won't be able to save an edited version.  Plus your ability to use widgets or the home page will be very limited - see the attached comparisons for more information - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005157

That did not work, and perhaps because my billing payment failed yesterday when I posted my problem.

When I go to the My Accounts page,
1) I only have the option to Upgrade or stay the same. There is no option to Downgrade to Free.
2) My payment screen will not accept any changes.

I appreciate your help. Maybe it would work in other situations but it does not work in mine.

You choose cancel. That will downgrade to Free.

This advice and an email from EN got me back to EN Free.
