With evernote Legacy I was able to use evernote with notes stored on my computer rather than having to log into my account through evernote.com. Is there a way to still do that using 10.0? version? Sorry for the poor wring of this question

Sure, on desktop there is a full download (it may not be in the first days of use, since it needs to load everything in the background).

The only important thing to access it while offline is to stay logged in when online. The computer can be shut down, the EN client closed, no problem. But it will remember if it was logged in the last time with internet connection. If yes, it will open the offline access.

On mobile it is as it always has been: Offline download is a subscribers feature. It has been improved a lot compared with the old clients. What is still the same: You need to define what content should be downloaded - default is no offline download.

So very helpful Thanks but one more question In the legacy version which I used forever you could search notes but I cannot seem to see how to that in this 10.0 version

?? There's a search box ??  What version are you using?

10.55.2 I think. There is a search bar but seems to search my folders and not ny notes like legacy did

Thanks for that but it will not search my notes only titles I believe

It searches everything - unless you use the parameter „intitle:“ to restrict the search to title fields only.

OK, then it should find content in a pdf.

If you try to select the searched string with the mouse, does it highlight the text ?

Thanks so much for all the help everyone. Does anyone know of a way for all pdf's in my notes to display all pages automatically rather than having to click on the 3 dots More options and tell it to display all?

There is a Setting where you can change it for all new PDFs added going forward (see screenshot below), but for those PDFs that you have already added, you have to change them all one at a time with the 3 dots More options.

(This only works on Web and Desktop. On mobile, there is no way to view a PDF inline as part of the note.)
