Deleted notebooks remain

I deleted some notebooks in Evernote legacy because I was over the 250 limit.  They still show up in Evernote Web version and in Evernote 10.54.4 version.   I'm unable to add new notebooks because those versions still think I have more than 250 notebooks.  How do I get them deleted?

Hi.  The notebook limit is 250 for free users,  1,000 for subscribers.  If you're a free user you may be locked out of the account - you need to contact Support (https://twitter.com/evernotehelps) or maybe subscribe (even if only for one month) to resolve the issue.

Are you sure the deletion has been synced from legacy to the server, and from the server to the other clients ?

If you use legacy, web and desktop v10 client on a Free account, you are exceeding the device limit by 1 device. Maybe that’s the true problem.
