0 Boot17 1,539 Posted March 17, 2023 Share Posted March 17, 2023 It's a different paradigm with Evernote. With task managers in general, the task is the primary/central unit. With Evernote, the note reigns supreme. I've used a task manager that I thought was pretty great for years, but one thing that was lacking was that I couldn't attach images (or other files) to a task. Sure, I could assign tags, comments, checklists, and a few other things, but I couldn't attach an image. Well, now with Evernote, I can attach images, audio files, pdfs, and other files to a task through the note. I rarely use the "Default Task Note". If a task needs any kind of metadata, I give it its own note. 1 Link to comment
0 Level 5* gazumped 12,073 Posted March 17, 2023 Level 5* Share Posted March 17, 2023 Not sure if this answers the question, but I'm setting up 'parent notes' for some of my tasks - the actual task is at the top of the note, and below that there's a table with dates and comments on the left, links and documents to the right, following through my progress on that issue.
