Cannot edit notebook after sharing

Gracilis

Idea

After the present update, when I share a note to someone, the received person cannot move it to a new notebook. (but can edit the content)

The only way to get around this is to copy it to another notebook on the desktop app but cannot do the same on the mobile app whether Android and iOS.

The original notebook remains in the shared with Me folder even though the sharing has revoked access.

Please please revert to the original form when we can choose the shared person can only view or can edit too.

Please be aware that these are user-to-user forums; Evernote staff may look in sometimes, but generally speaking, no one here can make this programming change. FWIW, I find that in the current version of the Web client and the Android app, when I go to share a note's link to a specific person, I am offered the options "Can edit and invite, Can edit, Can view." I presume you're seeing something similar. But, as you've found, "Can edit" does not mean "Can move to another notebook." I'm not sure that Evernote has ever allowed that with a shared note (though I could be wrong).

This sounds like a different problem, and it is a well-known and long-standing issue that once a note is shared, the person receiving the shared note can't delete it. It would help if you would explain what you're trying to do in greater detail.
