Tasks not loading on macOS desktop

I'm having trouble with the Tasks tab in my Mac OS desktop EN not loading. It just spins and spins. Loads fine on my iPhone, but the app on my MacBook Pro isn't loading.

macOS: Ventura 13.1
Evernote: 10.51.8

I have:
* closed the app and restarted my Mac
* signed out of the app and signed back in; restarted my Mac
* removed the app and reinstalled it

No change. Tasks still not loading. They load fine on the web version of EN.

Any ideas?

Did you uninstall using one of the Uninstaller programs mentioned in other threads? A standard uninstall leaves artefacts which can keep the problem. For Windows I use Revo Uninstaller. I know that there is a similar program but don't recall it's name. Search the forums or perhaps a Mac use will be along...

The uninstaller for the Mac is called AppCleaner, available for free on the internet.

You can try as well this:

1. Go to the Evernote menu, Preferences, and uncheck „Keep data when leaving“
2. Log out of EN (File menu), quit EN (cmd-q). When asked confirm "Remove Data from This Device".
3. If you want to be very sure, restart the Mac
4. Open EN, log back in, wait for it to run an initial sync. 
5. Let the initial download run, and leave the app open. It will take a while to download the full content, for offline use.
