Evernote app won't install on Samsung A71

I have been happily using the app on my A71 until yesterday when it would not load. I uninstalled and tried re-installing from the google play store. Message initially was "something went wrong try again" which i did. No progress. I then updated the phone to latest. Turned phone off, on, no progress.  Emptied recycle bin, got rid of most internal storage. shut down then started up again. No progress. Tried samsung app store, evernote was not there. I am at a loss as i have used  evernote personal (paid) account since 2014. I need the app on my A71. Please help me sort this out.

Hi.  You're posting in the Legacy forums for Evernote 8.13,  which is no longer supported.  If your device runs Android 10 - have you tried the new Evernote v10 app?

It runs on Android 10 (or better), so you need to load the v10 app.

The old app can only be sideloded, and is not supported any more.

Yes i am on Android 13 and the evernote version is the latest available in the Play store.
