webmanoffesto 4
I'm on Windows 11 and trying to use Backupery. It doesn't find the Evernote directory and I can't find it either. I have the Evernote Windows client installed. I've looked in C:\Users\myusername, (and I see BackuperyForEvernote there). I found instructions at https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313528-Back-up-and-restore-your-data-in-Evernote-for-Windows but that's not working for me. And ~/Library/Containers/ Where is that? Is that a Mac thing? Level 5* gazumped 10,750 Posted December 1, 2022 Level 5* Share Posted December 1, 2022 Hi. Evernote v10 has a different database management process and structure than the legacy versions. Backupery will work on Legacy, but not v10. Link to comment
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 2,897 Posted December 1, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted December 1, 2022 As @gazumped hinted, both of the links you included apply to older versions of Evernote (v. 6 and under). I believe the data in v. 10 are located in various subfolders under C:\Users\{your_username}\AppData\Roaming\Evernote. But what's there is complex, and the Evernote program's exact interactions with all the bits and pieces may be something of a mystery, to us and to Backupery. Link to comment
