Update pop up interrupts Fortnite game

Just definitely died during a live Fornite tournament due to a evernote pop up interrupting my session.

This is incredibly frustrating and I wish this "feature" was never made.

I believe the bug is that it shouldn't interrupt other processes.

There are more threads about the update message, but being Killed-In-Action because of it is the most fascinating reason so far.

The others just posted dull excuses like „came up in the middle of the most important presentation of my life“.

Maybe we should open a little competition who had the most exiting or absurd event with that push note. Currently you are running first place for me !

But seriously ... if it is a bug (and it may be; I've never seen this), paying subscribers can report bugs here: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

Probably the easiest way to prevent this before (and if) it gets fixed is to exit Evernote completely before starting an all-consuming activity in another program: File menu, then Quit Evernote (don't just click the X at top right, that only closes the interface).

These pop-ups can be blocked for the duration of the tournament and the session will not be interrupted. I did the same when there was a broadcast here moreover, I just took to the next window the place where I broadcast and the windows popped up there, or do it in a private window.

He passed away more than 1 year ago struggling with an update notice while being on the Fortnite run of his life - and the update process has been modified since.

Maybe we just say RIP and go on with more urgent matters.
