Firefox Web Clipper Login Not Registering

Recommended Posts

My Web Clipper for Firefox has stopped working. All the options to save content in the context menu are greyed out. When I click on the toolbar button it always says "Sign in to Web Clipper" even when I just signed in. While sign-in is successful, immediately afterwards a small popup appears telling me to accept third-party cookies. I have browser privacy set to Standard and am allowing Evernote cookies. I also turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection for https://evernote.com  but the problem persists. Next I've tried switching Privacy Settings to Custom and deselecting the Block Cookies and Tracking Content options but it still didn't work. Not sure what else to try at this point.

Anything else on your network that may interfere ?

I use web clipper in Firefox on my Mac, and last time I used it, it worked. This was maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, since FF is my „secondary“ browser I don’t use it daily. I run a Pi-Hole on my network, and I must remember to deactivate it before installing some extensions or apps. Works for most, but not for anyone.

Nope, nothing else. It works with Chrome and used to work with Firefox until it didn't. Seems to be a third-party cookies issue but I can't figure out why it's not working even after turning off Enhanced Tracking Protection for https://evernote.com.

I was using the Web Clipper on Firefox yesterday. Worked fine. I did notice Of received an update. Perhaps the update had failed for you.

Have you tried uninstalling the Clipper and starting from scratch?
