Leo Tohill 1
A defect: I insert a youtube url into my note It embeds a preview of the video, which I don't want. I click on the preview image and hit the delete key. It deletes the entire note! I recover it from the trash bin. 10.41.5-win-ddl-public (3540) Editor: v152.1.18758 Service: v1.55.2 Link to comment

Leo Tohill 1
So, Evernote doesn't monitor these posts for bug reports? I don't care to follow up, I just want them to know. Link to comment

I don't care to follow up, I just want them to know. While Evernote staffers do read posts to get a sense of what's going on, there are around 100,000 topics and over 500,000 posts in play - even though the Devs are probably only reading new posts, it may take a while for them to see this. Feedback from the app, or a Support ticket if you are a subscriber, will let them know sooner. Link to comment

Sorry, I'm unable to reproduce this behaviour. The only way I can delete a note by pressing the delete key is if the focus is on the note in the note list (ie blue box around the note in the note list). If the focus is on the embedded video (blue box around it) as it should be in your case after clicking it, then for me it deletes the video. By the way, if you don't want the preview, you can choose to have it as a link or "title only" 2 Link to comment
