ChristineCarloGeorge 1
Since last week, I am unable to open evernote on my mac. I get the green spinning circle and it won't ever open. Twice now, I have deleted the app, restarted my computer, downloaded the new app and get the same results. Anyone else having this problem? Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,827 Posted June 12, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted June 12, 2022 To uninstall, use an uninstaller app like AppCleaner. The problem is likely rooted in the local database, and the Mac system uninstall process will not remove data files. So get AppCleaner, install and run it. When the window appears with the program items, make sure to select all for uninstalling. Then restart the Mac, and download the newest version of EN from the EN website. Install, log in, and now wait until the initial download from the server has happened. You can as well try to remove that folder - make sure the app is completely closed (cmd-Q) before you touch the folder. It is called "Evernote" and located in ~/Library/Application Support/ .
