Evernote not syncing with phone

I cannot see a note I just made on Windows, on my phone, and nothing I do seems to help. 

Can somebody please help?

It takes a little while for edits to make their way up to the server,  and then back down to another device.  If you're a subscriber have you checked that the notes make it to the server by signing in to Evernote.com in a browser?

Only a single note does not show, and others sync - or is no new note going through to the phone ?
