GRK 2
I am using a Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 scanner running V 7.2 L30 of ScanSnap Manager. My question is whether it's possible to scan from this scanner directly into a SPECIFIC note within Evernote. Currently, when I scan from this scanner to Evernote, the scanned document is sent to my default notebook. Again, I want to preselect the notebook, scan the document, and it show up in the selected note and NOT my default notebook. Thank you for considering my inquiry. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,735 Posted February 21, 2022 Level 5 Share Posted February 21, 2022 No, there is AFAIK no direct way to do this. But you can use Import folders to help you out. You can set up several import folders, each connected to a different notebook. Now scan into ScanSnap Manager Folder. The scan appears in SSM, you can set the file name there. Because the file name becomes the note title, for me it avoids rework when I set the file name correctly here. In the destination field choose the import folder linked to the correct notebook. It saves to that folder, and seconds later the new note is created in the assigned notebook. Link to comment

I use an Import folder to dump scans in my default notebook and leave Filterize to sort them out. I'm only currently using the tags and moving options though. Link to comment

To help you along the way, there's a good database of "How To" information from Evernote here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us These User Forums will (usually) answer any questions you might have about the best way to do something (though there may be different opinions to choose from!) Some companies offer 'quick guides' like these... https://www.harmonenterprises.com/evernote-v10 https://access.wearethegreywave.com/eqs-2021/ Link to comment
