Default notebook which has more than 10000 notes don't show up on Android.
I had the same problem a year ago. Contacted the support. They ask for logs and a lot of information but the problem was not solved.
Since that I've been using an old version. But today when I reinstalled that old version could not log in.
Already installed and reinstalled several times. In the desktop works fine.
I also can't write a simple note. It hangs. 😟

I am having the same issue - my default notebook has over 10,000 notes - starting from 2008 :) . It is not syncing to the Android app.

I can see it, as expected, in the web browser (Chrome running on Linux, Firefox running on Linux) and Windows.

In the Android app, when I go to Settings -> Notebooks -> Default notebook - nothing shows.

Offline Notebooks shows my default notebook in the list - but the toggle to download the default notebook does not appear as green and does not stay selected if I click on it.

So I e-mailed support and was told about a workaround that I'm sharing below -

Hi Joe,

Thanks for your patience. My name is Hector and I'll be the Technical Support Specialist assisting you with your note creation issues.

I understand that after a recent update you are unable to create notes on the account on your Android device. I wanted to let you know that our developers are aware of the issue and are working on a fix which we hope to have released in a future update. We believe the issue is stemming from an unexpected interaction with the account's default notebook.

As a workaround, please log in to your account from the desktop web version of Evernote at www.evernote.com. Once logged in please change the default notebook from its current notebook to a new one. You can read steps on how to change your default notebook here:https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314728

Once done, log back into your account on your Android device and create a note. You should see the notes saved successfully to the account. After confirming, you can change the default notebook back to its original and the fix should stay.

I recognize this has been frustrating and I apologize for the experience and inconvenience. We hope to have this resolved soon. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to let me know and I'll try my best to continue to assist. Thanks for your patience and understanding while we work on releasing a more permanent fix.

Thanks again @Hector C. (I'm just guessing that you are maybe Hector Camarero)
