White Tiger 3
I have always installed EN on a disk other than 😄 Today I install EN on a new PC and can't find the option to move the database anywhere. I downloaded the setup directly from the site and the version is 10.25.6. Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,059 Posted November 21, 2021 Evernote Expert Share Posted November 21, 2021 This isn't a function in Evernote v10. Some users have managed to achieve our by the clever use of sym links. You can search in the EN v10 Windows Issues threads for the previous discussion. It seemed to work for those that needed it. You'll do it at your own risk. 1 Link to comment

You'll do it at your own risk. Never used a simlink in my life. I confirm that there has always been an option to move the database. In fact, in the previous discussions there is talk of "Lecacy" versions. If it has been removed in the new one it is stupid. Keeping the data on a disk other than 😄 is one of the first suggestions that are given. Link to comment

White Tiger 3
For example this is what happened now. The line before the paste was: /int-bckp/webmin/debian-dev-webserver-%y-%m-%d-%H%M%S.tar.gz This is "the line" after Ctrl-V, CTRL-Shift-V or "Paste" da menu /int-bckp/webmin/ ul-hq-dws1 -%y-%m-%d-%H%M%S.tar.gz The right line had to be: /int-bckp/webmin/ul-hq-dws1-%y-%m-%d-%H%M%S.tar.gz The copied text was taken from the same note (ul-hq-dws1). Level 5 PinkElephant 8,771 Posted November 25, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 25, 2021 It just prove that this is an unofficial workaround - use it on your own peril. It is not that dangerous, because independently from where you move your local data, the master copy is always on the cloud server. This is nothing new, with legacy the master was on the server as well. Link to comment
