Steve Klinghoffer 4
Is there any way in which to view only uncompleted tasks? 1 Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,197 Posted October 29, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted October 29, 2021 Enter this into the search field: contains:taskNotCompleted You can combine it with other search language elements, or combine it with filters, like for notebook, tags, dates etc. If you need it more often, create a Saved Search. If you need it permanently, put it into Shortcuts. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828 Link to comment
Steve Klinghoffer 4
This is a great suggestion but unfortunately it doesn't answer the problem which is having a note that contains both completed and uncompleted tasks reveal only the uncompleted tasks. If I have a note with say 30 tasks and 25 are completed, there seems to be no way only to show the uncompleted tasks. I think you can see where I am going. Every one of my projects has a note that contains tasks - some completed and other uncompleted. I do the same thing for each of my areas of focus. The problem is that the note gets messy in a hurry unless I actually delete completed tasks. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,197 Posted October 30, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted October 30, 2021 Personally I only see as a workaround to spread the tasks over multiple notes - maybe one per subproject. EN still treats the note as the master object - this leads to restrictions. You can drop a support ticket, or use the feedback function. Link to comment
