Task dependency

It would be great to have dependency between tasks, i.e. have one task to be active after other is finished.

My tasks are documented in separate notes linked by a project tag (#Project-aaaaaaaaaaa)

I suspect task dependency (finish>start) will require a dedicated task-management app   
I'm content with doing this as a manual process    
using GTD practices; whenever a task is completed, identify the next action(s)   
fwiw  I use a tag to identify active tasks (#Task-Active)

The ability to chain tasks one behind another to build dependencies sounds more like a real project management app to me. It usually comes with features like calculating the total project duration (critical path method) and buffer times.
