Give me my old home screen

The widget-based home screen is completely useless to me. In fact, it reduces the value of Evernote to the point that I'm actively looking for a replacement.

I understand that people have different needs. But what about MY needs? I need a simple, easy-to-use interface that just gets the job done.

I don't want artwork.

I don't want tasks.

I don't want a scratchpad.

I don't want "pretty".

I just want to get to my notes. That's why I captured them.

Is there any way to get a plain, simple home page?

Whatever you want - there are quite some requests, on the same issue.

You can search the thread in requests, and add your vote to it.

You don't say which platform you are using. Recent versions of the windows desktop version open on the last screen before shutdown even without doing a "complete exit". If you don't want the home screen just don't go there.

The same works on the Mac as well. When the "classical" view is open when I leave the app, I start there when I open it again.

Now I have to start another thread: How can I always start on the Home dashboard if I like ??? There is no setting ...
