Evernote Mac 10.17.6 - Bug with Saved Searches in Shortcuts

I have a saved search that is this:

tag:"Dad Jokes" notebook:"Dad Jokes" -tag:Completed

tag:"Dad Jokes" notebook:"Dad Jokes" -tag:Completed

This search works fine on Windows (old version - not upgrading that!) and on the mac as a regular search. But if I save the search to the shortcut bar then use the shortcut to search. it return nothing. Any assistance here?

This was reported a few weeks ago here but not fixed in the 10.17.6 build. No one from Evernote responded to/acknowledged the thread.

Evernote very rarely comments on bug reports - and with v10 it's not like they're rare or anything...  If you didn't already go direct to Support,  try them...
