Keyboard Shortcuts not working

Anyone have the shortcuts quit working? Ctrl-N, Ctrl-Alt-N, Ctrl-T not working. Restarted app with no help. Was working since latest update, but not today. Will try reboot when I can shut everything else down.

Tried on the Mac, EN 10.16

All 3 shortcuts listed are working. Ctrl needs to be replaced by cmd, as usual.

I just logged to post here, having similar issues. I am trying to learn some new shortcuts for several apps I use to limit my mouse usage. 

It seems to be an issue with the CTRL commands. I am on windows 10 , version 10.16. 

Some of the shortcuts I have tried, but couldn't:

- Most navigation shortcuts, like Home (CTRL + ALT + 1),  Open Notebooks (CTRL + ALT + 4), etc, not working;

- the shortcut helper menu (CTRL + /) - kinda ironic

- insert time: CTRL + ALT + D

- remove formatting: CTRL + ALT + SPACE

I am not on Windows - is it possible there are other global settings, by the OS or by other apps ?

Windows,  as with most things Microsoft,  is a little possessive over system shortcuts.  It will lean in and grab the keys when booting up,  so any app allegedly able to configure keystrokes can't claw them back.  Text expansion apps like AHK and Phrase Express can automate some activities from outside the system.
