J10Block 2
It stopped working after the latest Windows Update this morning. It won't open nor will it re-install. I uninstalled and it won't re-install either. Just a message from Evernote saying "Something went wrong on our end, sorry about that. Please try restarting Evernote" Quit Restart That's it. Anyone else had this come up? Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,819 Posted June 22, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted June 22, 2021 You updated Windows, or you updated the EN Windows client ? If you updated Windows, can you say which build / version you installed ? Home/Pro/Enterprise ? Link to comment
J10Block 2
Thank you for replying. I attached a picture of the hell loop error message and also the windows build. I am trying a system restore and turning off new Windows updates to see if that helps. Link to comment
Level 5 PinkElephant 8,819 Posted June 23, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted June 23, 2021 OK, Home usually is less complicated with settings and the network in which it is running. Since I am mostly on a Mac, it may be a good point to get support involved. I think you should have Windows up and running before doing so. They will probably tell you first to uninstall and reinstall. Wish you success! Link to comment
Guest
Please send logs if you can - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314078 They can also be found at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Evernote\logs for the direct download client. MS Store client is more complicated. Link to comment

Level 5 PinkElephant 8,819 Posted November 22, 2021 Level 5 Share Posted November 22, 2021 Maybe this, which basically is an alternative way to do more or less the same. But it does not try to do a piston repair while the engine is still running … Go to File > Sign Out [name] from the menu bar. Select the "Remove my Evernote data from this device" option, then click Sign out. Restart your computer. Sign back in to Evernote The next step beyond this would be a full, clean uninstall.
