Capability of setting alarms for individual tasks in To Do list

Would it be possible to create the capability of setting alarms for individual tasks in the To Do list please?

Currently no, at least not without a redesign. The reminder date „belongs“ to the note, and there is only one.

The workaround is currently to set it to the next issue on the list, and reset it as tasks mature.

Currently, metadata like reminders is only supported at the note level   
Personally, my "To Do's" are separate notes; I have no problem setting alarms          
My "To Do list" is a list of notes, generate by a saved search

That's a good idea but makes the TD list redundant and therefore less concise. Your solution for time dependant tasks plus the TD list for more immediate ones, would work well. Thank you for the suggestion.
