Doctorphil 3
Using the Windows desktop app. Until recently, I could add attachments to a note by clicking on a blue + sign on the left. That icon is now gone, and there appears to be no quick and easy way to add attachments. I know I can drag a file over, or copy and paste, but having that icon to click on was very helpful, and it is gone now. Is there a way to get it back? Link to comment
Paul A. 675
Have you tried restarting the app? Maybe restarting your computer? A screenshot might also help. Link to comment
Doctorphil 3
I have tried restarting the app in the computer. When I restart the app, the blue + appears on the very first note I look at. But when I moved to another note, the blue + is gone and does not even reappear if I return to the first note I looked at. Link to comment
Doctorphil 3
Playing around with this, I just noticed that if I click on an attachment that is already in the note, the blue + appears, or just click in the body copy, the blue + reappears. This solves my problem. Never mind. 1 Link to comment
Evernote Expert agsteele 3,059 Posted April 3, 2021 Evernote Expert Share Posted April 3, 2021 The blue + symbol is focus dependent. Open a note and click inside the note at the point you might make an edit. The + symbol should appear. Click in the snippet/card view column and the symbol will disapear. Link to comment
