Patricknyc 0 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Hey guys, I’m looking for quick and easy spread sheets. I tried to do it Evernote, and it was quick and easy. I’ll be using the spreadsheet to record stock trades. So I’d like to know if it’s possible to add a little more spreadsheet like functions. So when I add a symbol I’d like it to pull the name of the company from yahoo finance. When I manually add the amount of shares I’ve purchased and the entry price, I’d like the cost basis cell to multiply the shares by the entry price. When I manually add the exit price, I’d like the earnings cell to display the the difference between the entry price and the exit price and then calculate calculate the percentage in another cel. I’ve been up all nite so in case this seems like rambling, I’ll post a link to my draft spreadsheet Trading spreadsheet so you can have an idea. Is this too much of a reach? Should I just use Numbers or Excel or this something I can do with Evernote?

A spreadsheet sounds like a good solution, but you should be looking at a spreadsheet application (Excel, Numbers) The document could be stored in Evernote as a file attachment 2
