Note need but no longer working on

Is there a way to file old notes away where I don't see them on the main note screen? Ideally, I'd like only the notes I. need currently o show up and old notes to be filed away and not show on my main note screen. I can't figure this out. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi.  Have you considered exporting old notes to an ENEX file and deleting them from your account?  You could tag them 'archive' or some such and exclude them from searches,  or use that tag to find and export them on a regular basis.

I tag notes with tag:!Archive and exclude notes from searches using   -tag;!Archive
